This is an excellent camera in my opinion. I owned an earlier version digital Canon which I liked also but its servo motor gave up the ghost after 3 years so I was in need of a camera. The features I really like are the 20x optical zoom (improved from 12x) and the 10 MP quality (improved from 5MP) and face detection ! I'm impressed.
